Our newest FundsforWriters ebook release!

Ferocious Promotion for Timid Authors

How would you like to have hundreds of easy, low-cost or NO COST ideas for helping your book find readers in your community and in the world at large?

Most authors love to write but are at a loss when it comes to promoting the books they have written - we were all taught to be humble, right?

This new ebook isn't like anything else you're likely to find. It doesn't tell you  how to spend thousands and thousands of dollars promoting your book. It's not going to tell you to try to get on Oprah or Jerry Springer. It's full of honest, low-profile ways to tastefully promote and sell your book the same way you wrote it - from the heart.

FundsforWriters is excited about this book. It's a joint effort by C. Hope Clark and author Gwynne Spencer.  Originally an article proposed by Gwynne, the piece kept growing and growing until Hope finally admitted that Gwynne was right. "This is an ebook." Combining the knowledge of both women, the ebook speaks mainly to the self-published author struggling to sell his or her book. The tips particularly point to local venues, from schools to libraries, from civic groups to commercial venues.

(Excerpt) We can define our writing and subsequent self-promotion through the eyes of a dachshund:

  1. Humble but stubborn;

  2. Small but ferocious;

  3. Always happy to meet another weener dog;

  4. Easily recognizes a kindred spirit, a fellow breed;

  5. Has a totally different view of the world from the Big Dogs;

  6. Their scary bark can make an impression;

  7. Put one foot in front of the other, even the short steps take them home;

  8. Wags a tail, no matter what. People will stop and say “How cute” and “Hi there.”

 They are the perfect brand for self-promotion. Attractive, enjoyable and strong."

Okay, we admit it. Both of us adore weener dogs. So at Gwynne's suggestion, we sprinkled references to our favorite breed throughout the book, including some cute tiny paw prints at the end of each chapter. But we are as crazy about writers becoming successful as we are about our puppies.
